BAPE Is Bringing Back OG Colorways Of The Bapesta

The Bathing Ape BAPESTA was one of the trendiest sneakers in hip-hop and streetwear during the early 2000s as influencers like Pharrell and Kanye could be seen rocking the Air Force 1 knockoff everywhere in its iconic combination of patent leather and vibrant colors. BAPE has since focused on collaborative efforts since taking new ownership after Nigo sold the Japanese imprint to Chinese investors. But, for those of you looking to revisit the graphic heavy, high-contrast nostalgia that propelled BAPE into being a household name, there’s good news: BAPE is bringing back the original BAPESTA colorways this Saturday, August 12th for $258 USD each. This includes the primary color option featuring red, yellow, and blue; the dark brown, tan, and pink combination; and the grey, green, and orange option. All three will appear on BAPE’s online store.
