The Nike Kyrie 3 “Academy” Is Inspired By The Navy Cross

Kyrie Irving has been incredibly lowkey this summer after news leaked that he had requested a trade from the three-time NBA Eastern Conference champion Cleveland Cavaliers. The controversy hasn’t stopped Nike Basketball from giving us looks at some of the best Kyrie 3 colorways to date with unique takes like the Kyrie 3 Asia Tour on NIKEiD, the Kyrie 3 Tiffany, and the Kobe-inspired Kyrie 3 Bruce Lee. After preview of Nike Basketball Academy‘s PG 1, LeBron 14, and KD 10, today we get a look at the Navy Cross-inspited Kyrie 3 Basketball Academy. The pair features callouts to the second-highest decoration awarded to valor in combat with unique Swoosh branding and the Navy’s official colorways. Nike’s Peach Jam PEs usually release in limited numbers, so there’s still a chance we see this Kyrie offering at retail.
