Nike Makers Experience Customization 1

Nike is taking customization to the next level. Today the brand unveils the Nike Makers’ Experience, an interactive, virtually instant way to design and wear customized sneakers. Located at Nike’s 45 Grand space in New York City, the Nike Makers’ Experience allows the consumer to design and leave with a custom pair of sneakers in 90 minutes or less. The initial model offered is the Nike Presto X, a silhouette specially created by the Nike Advanced Innovation team for the Makers’ Experience. The shoe will be available as a traditional Presto or slip-on.

Your own Presto design begins with a series of graphic options, generated from Nike (IE the brand’s logos and slogans) or your own custom phrases. These items can then be customized into patterns, with an almost infinite choice of color.

For this initial run, the Makers’ Experience will be by invite-only and limited to Nike friends and family and select Nike+ members. For full details on the Makers’ Experience, visit Nike News.
