The footwear industry in Portland, Oregon just got a little more crowded. Joining Nike and adidas who both have headquarters in Portland, Under Armour joins the scene with the new UA PDX facility. The brand is billing the Portland office as global innovation hub for footwear design, bringing the future of their design, development and innovation all under one roof. Located in Southwest Portland, 70,000 square foot UA PDX office occupies a former YMCA facility at the recently refurbished Duniway Park. UA PDX will house about 100 of the brand’s employees, all working to create the next generation of basketball, running, training, golf, lifestyle and outdoor footwear.
