After unveiling their innovative new Flyleather earlier this week, Nike just quietly dropped the first sneaker available with the recycled leather material at retail. Flyleather debuts on the Tennis Classic, in a no-frills, all-white colorway. In fact, the only thing that distinguishes them from any old pair of Tennis Classics are the extra accessories included with each pair, a small card and keychain with Flyleather branding.
Those curious to see how the new synthetic leather that Nike claims uses 90% less water during production, is 40% lighter, has 80% less of a carbon imprint, and is five times more durable than classic full-grain leather can pick up their pair now at Nike.com.
