Today is NBA Media Day for the Cleveland Cavs and the rest of the league, giving the media a first look at the 2017-2018 rosters in their new Nike uniforms and new kicks. However, all that seemed to be a sub-plot to a much larger issue regarding President Trump’s comments about NFL team owners firing players who protest the anthem as well as the President’s withdrawal of invitation from the Golden State Warriors.
But beyond those pressing matters, we got a look at some of the footwear that was spotted today, starting with a brand new colorway of LeBron’s latest signature shoe, the Nike LeBron 15. In addition to that new LeBron 15, the newest members of the Cavaliers made their impressions too. Isaiah Thomas was spotted in the Air Zoom Generation “First Game”, Derrick Rose, named the starting point guard until IT’s return, was in his signature adidas D Rose 8, the Jeff Green turned the clock back with the Air Jordan 11 “Cool Grey”.
Also worth noting is Kevin Love, who wore the First Game Generations as well. Photos via @wfnyscott.
