Jordan Brand Set Up A Flea Market-Style Pop-Up Shop For Aleali May’s Air Jordan 1 Release

Aleali May’s Air Jordan 1 design, a tribute to 90s fashion and the familiar materials of that era, officially released this past weekend in select stores across the globe. In Los Angeles, Jordan Brand teamed up with Undefeated for a full take-over, transforming the boutique into the 90s-era flea-market style pop-up with vintage t-shirts, outdated displays, and loud signs plastered on the store-front. A native of South Central who spent her formative years in Los Angeles immersed in LA style, Aleali May created the Air Jordan 1 as a tribute to her affinity for menswear, ditching skirts and dress shoes for satin Jordan shorts and corduroy slippers.
