Fans of the increasingly popular Nike Vapormax will get a special treat this November courtesy of the Nike Doernbecher Freestyle Collection and patient-designer Andrew Merydith. Merydith designed his Vapormax to match his favorite BMX jersey, with a bright blue and neon green upper with purple laces. The truly unique details of the design are the custom “AM” logo on the tongue and the hashtag #ilovethefam on a blacked-out midsole to show Andrew’s thanks for his family’s unending support during his fight with cystic fibrosis. Those looking to cop Merydith’s clean take on this standout silhouette can do so on November 18th via the SNKRS app, with all proceeds going to benefit OHSU Doernbecher.
