There simply was too much to see and hear during the second annual Complex Con, but this alternate sample of one of the year’s best shoe releases might’ve been one of its best attractions – and it wasn’t even on display. Spotted on the feet of Nike employee Ben Kirschner is an alternate navy blue Swoosh version of the Tom Sachs x Nike Mars Yard 2.0 shoe; for the uninformned, the released version (as well the original 2011 pair) comes adorned with red Swoosh logos. Kirschner, who was responsible for the celebrated SF-AF1 line as well as other key collaborations for Jordan Brand, has a new role within Nike in which these PE-style SMUs will likely be a common occurrence, so be sure to follow him on Instagram for the occasional quickstrike reveal.
