The Gyakusou x NikeLab Winter Boot Collection Is Pretty Insane

Jun Takahashi’s Gyakusou label steps off the running track and into the realm of off-road plains with the NikeLab Gaiter Boot collection. Again going off on untraditional design concepts, this selection of boots makes use of nylon uppers with zipper enclosures and lockdown buckles for that tactical appeal, while the enhanced outsole provides assurance of anti-slippage and general stomp-on-everything capabilities. The shoes are almost an extension of Errolson Hugh’s Nike ACG Komyuter, so it’s clear that NikeLab has a clear design direction for its all-conditions footwear on both the ACG and general fronts. Nike hasn’t announced a release date of any kind, but Australia’s Sneakerboy has the entire set for $350 AUD.
