Vans is back with a reissue of one of its all-time classic designs. The Vans Sk8-Hi is getting decked out again in a checkerboard pattern that adorns the canvas portion of the upper as well as the majority of the rubber midsole. The checkerboard design is broken up by soft black suede overlays that finish off the timeless look on this iconic skate shoe. Vans’ use of checkerboard has been remixed numerous times with unique collaborations and different takes on the simplistic look, but here it is back-to-basics.
