As has already been seen this year, the Nike VaporMax is already a huge focal point for the Swoosh brand. The innovative silhouette has seen countless color and style variations that allow it to transition from performance-wear to fashion to training. An unseen sample of the Nike VaporMax has surfaced on IndexPDX that may shed some light on what the future will hold for the popular silhouette. The sample features a more rugged upper with overlays for added durability, possibly hinting to its intended use as a training shoe. The full-length Max Air unit that is part of the essence of the Nike VaporMax is of course present in this sample as well.
Judging by this sample and the already innumerous variations we have seen, it would be fair to say that Nike likely has big plans for the VaporMax heading into 2018. It would not be shocking to see more rugged variations like this one hit the market along with more lifestyle-geared models.
