Puma To Release Four Suedes Inspired By Breakdance-Crazed Cities

The Puma Suede silhouette has been an integral part of hip-hop culture ever since it made its debut nearly 50 years ago. Furthermore, when breakdancing burst onto the scene into the 1980’s, the Suede became an essential tool in any B-boy or B-girl’s arsenal. With plush suede, clean colorways, and thick rubber gripped soles, the shoe was a perfect instrument for dancers as it never slipped on dance floors, cardboard, or concrete.

Now, Puma is honoring some of the most influential breakdancing cities from around the wold with its upcoming “Breakdancing Cities” collection with each particular iteration embossed with graphic treatments that celebrate its respective city. Packaged with a matching Tee, the classic brand hooks up New York, Berlin, Paris, and Seoul with their own selections that range from infant to adult sizes and everything in between.
