Ben Felderstein Nike’s Air Span silhouette made its global debut in 1988 and was closely followed by the Air Span II in 1990 and 1991, but it hadn’t hit the market again in decades. Now, that is all changing as the retro running silhouette is gearing up for a return in one of its original colorways. Dressed up in white, blue, black, and grey, the Air Span II sports bold branding on the lateral side of the sneaker toward the heel, similar to the Air Stab that debuted in the same year. It appears as if the Air Span II has a busy year ahead, with other original colorways on the horizon and a rumored collaboration with Patta in the works as well. This particular iteration is currently available in Europe, but will be coming to Nike.com soon.
