LeBron James’ Black History Month Sneakers Feature Pan-African Flag Colors

LeBron James’ footwear this NBA season has been one of the more discussed topics in basketball as his new Nikes have flaunted some inspirational messages of unity and human rights. On opening night, he debuted his new signature shoe with an all-black colorway and a bold “EQUALITY” embroidered on the heel in gold, and months later a similar version with alternating white and black colors surfaced during a game against the Wizards. As Nike gears up for its official recognition of Black History Month, the brand will release a special edition Nike LeBron 15 that features a Flyknit upper with Pan-African flag colors and golden BHM embroidered o the tongue. Expect a release on January 15th, 2018 for $185.
