Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz caught up wit Joe La Puma at Stadium Goods in New York City for the latest edition of Complex Sneaker Shopping. In this week’s episode, the two discussed what Vans mean to LA, Kanye’s influence on the sneaker industry, and Jerry Lorenzo’s Fear of God collection. Wentz shared a personal story about being stuck in traffic on his way to the Cubs vs. Dodgers playoff game, and Lorenzo let him merge ahead of him in traffic, and his appreciation for his FoG brand. In terms of Kanye, FOB’s bassist made it clear that he thinks West is a visionary and he’s always looking at things as art, he doesn’t do things for the money or what’s on trend at the time. For all that and much more, check out the entire episode of Complex Sneaker Shopping below, and see what Wentz went home with.
