After twenty years of influential business, colette officially closed its doors in December of 2017. The entire fashion world came out of the woodworks to pay homage to the store that re-shaped the world of retail, with Chanel, Pharrell, and adidas commemorating the milestone with a limited-edition sneaker release. Today, colette reveals that Jordan Brand gifted them with a special edition Air Jordan 1 decorated in colette’s signature white and blue hue, double-dot logo, and a translucent sole that reveals a message of “Au Revoir”. The years of 1997 and 2017 are imprinted onto the heels to mark the shop’s incredible run. See a full shot of colette’s own Air Jordan 1 below.
