Kyrie Irving’s “Core” sneaker, the Nike Kyrie Flytrap is ready to be rolled out in some brand new colorways. Initially debuting in a simple, black and white iteration, the Swoosh Brand has added a few new looks with a bit more flare. Named after the infamous Venus Flytrap plant that is prevalent in Irving’s homeland of Australia, it emulates the ability of the Celtics’ leading man to lure a defender into his own trap and then blow past them with his handles. Equipped with Zoom Air cushioning, a breathable upper, and midsole technology derived from the Kyrie 4, Irving’s newest basketball sneaker comes with a reasonable $80 price tag. Highlighted by a pair with black, orange, and yellow detailing, three new options will be available in Stateside Nike Basketball retailers soon.
