The Nike Air Max 97 Arrives In Michigan Style Colors

The University Of Michigan may still be smarting from their National Championship Game loss to the Villanova Wildcats, but that doesn’t mean Wolverines lovers can’t take solace in a fresh pair of Nikes that offer a look similar to their beloved school’s colorway. After an Air Max 90 featuring maze and blue released earlier this month, a similar colorway has surfaced on the classic Air Max 97. The new colorway features a blue mesh upper with the 97’s iconic stripes and mudguard done up in a flat reflective silver. A yellow stripe and yellow swoosh detailing on the tongue and lateral side of the sneaker provide a pop of color. The shoe’s colorful upper sits on top of a white midsole, blue Air Max unit, and an outsole adorned with black, grey, and yellow detailing. Expect these to arrive on Nike.com May 1st for $160 USD.
