mastermind Japan And Converse To Drop Jack Purcell Collaboration Next Weekend

After combining for an alternative take on the classic Chuck Taylor last year, mastermind and Converse are joining forces again for a collaborative low-top Jack Purcell. As expected, the brand’s penchant for a skull and crossbones is prominently featured on the tongue, whereas other cues to punk come by way of metal studs replacing the top eyelet, a hand-scrawled Mastermind graphic by the toe cap, and branded insoles. This is a rather refreshing choice as Converse has been heavily pushing its other classics in the One Star and the Chuck 70, so look for this collaborative Jack Purcell to be available in Japan only on May 19th.
