Nike Sends Customer The Air Jordan 2 “Melo” By Mistake

While Carmelo Anthony’s signature line with the Jordan Brand leaves a bit to be desired, his Denver Nuggets-colored retros have always been highly sought after. Dressed in Varsity Maize and University Blue, this Air Jordan 2 “Melo” is primed for a comeback and Jumpman and Carmelo fans alike are excited for its arrival at retail. Apparently Nike isquite excited for the release as well, as one lucky (or unlucky, depending on how you look at it) patron ordered a pair of the Air Max 97 “Reflective Silver”, but received an Air Jordan 2 “Melo” in its stead. This is not the first slip-up courtesy of a shipping department, as one customer received an early pair of Bred Toes from Eastbay back in November, and another got shipped a Jordan 1 “Game Royal” instead of a “Bred Toe” from Nike SNEAKRS in the UK. While IG user, michman98 may be the first to get his hands on the AJ2 “Melo”, the rest of you will have to wait for its official drop on June 9th.
