Ben Felderstein No need to do a double take, you read that right. Nike’s newest female exclusive silhouette is indeed called the Vandal Surprise and boasts one of the most on-trend looks currently running rampant in women’s fashion footwear. The double-stacked sole is the “surprise” in this remixed classic, adding a platform’ed construction for one of the most daring alterations ever done on a Nike Basketball shoe. It also features a forefoot strap that harkens back to the Vandal’s ankle strap for an extra touch of Nike heritage, while the double-stacked Swoosh logo also add to the eccentric flavor of the women’s sneaker.
Female fans of this exuberant new sneaker will have their choice between a soft pink and a royal blue color scheme when they arrive at retail sooner rather than later. Stay tuned for updates and tell us if you’re picking up a pair of this wildly curious shoe.
