In yet another poignant ad by Nike, the brand tells not the story of LeBron James’ many successes in basketball, but of the moment in time this path towards all-time greatness. It reenacts the time a 16-year-old LeBron (with skin too good for a teen in high-school) walked into a tattoo shop in Las Vegas and got his raggedy yet audacious “Chosen 1” ink permanently drawn into his frame. The three-time NBA champion clearly surpassed that hype, with many of the current basketball banter placing LeBron on an equal plane as Michael Jordan. While that debate is for you to dive into, check out the ad below and stay tuned for the NBA Finals to begin tonight at 9 PM.
