Once again, being a student athlete at the University of Oregon pays off, as the school’s track and field team recently revealed an Air Jordan 13 PE via the team’s Twitter account. Dressed in a familiar combination of black and yellow, this new Oregon PE replaces the customary cat eye motif inside the sneaker’s hologram with the school’s duck mascot, much like the AJ13s made for the school’s football and basketball teams earlier this year. In fact, designers Dan Sunwoo and Tinker Hatfield aimed to use this color combination to emulate the foot of a duck. The words “Track” and “Field” can be seen on each sneaker’s dubrae, while a larger than life “O” comes featured on the tongue. In typical Jordan 13 fashion, this selection ushers in a number of materials, with tumbled leather on its midfoot, and buttery suede on its mudguard, toebox, and heel. Peep a detailed set of images below and tell us where you think these stack up against the long list of Oregon PEs we’ve seen in the past.
