The Nike Vapormax 97 Remembers The Original “Grape” Colorway

After recently being unveiled in a clean “Metallic Cashmere” and a commemorative “Metallic Gold,” Nike’s hybrid Vapormax 97 has arrived in another fresh colorway, this time a classic “Grape.” The shoe’s Air Max 97 upper features a clean white mesh underlay and white leather mudguard with the 97’s signature silver stripes. The bright “Grape” detailing arrives via a purple stripe, purple heel tab, small purple swooshes on the tongue and midfoot, and teal sockliner. The upper’s throwback aesthetic is offset with a futuristic bold purple Vapormax cushioning unit that provides a bold contrast. Expect these colorful Vapormax 97s to release June 21st and retail for $190 USD.
