Vans Releases New Rubber-Cap Skate Options

Vans Releases New Rubber-Cap Skate Options

Summer is the perfect time for skating, and Vans has released a three-pack of classic silhouettes ready for any and all summertime skate sessions: an Era Pro, a Slip-On Pro, and a AV Classic Pro. All three models feature a half-moon rubber patch on the lateral side of the midfoot—a high wear point that makes contact with a skateboard’s rough griptape on most flip tricks—that provides extra durability and a Ultra Cush HD sockliner for increased impact protection. The Era arrives in a retro black/green with a white midsole, while the Slip-On goes for a totally green upper and the AV Classic opts for a stately black with white contrast stitching and a bold tongue patch. All three of these classic, extra-tough skate shoes are available now at Vans Skateboarding retailers like Premier, and retail for $60-$65.
