The urban runner demands exceptionally high performance from their sneakers. With abrupt starts and stops, sudden changes in direction, and endless pounding of the pavement, their footwear must keep up with the city’s endless hustle and bustle. Thankfully, adidas is set to release a running sneaker that’s specifically designed with the urban runner in mind: the adidas PureBoost Go. The new shoe features a new “Expanded Landing Zone,” a wider forefoot platform that offers increased stability for quick lateral movements, and a full-length Boost midsole for all-day cushioning and comfort. A circular knit upper offers a deconstructed look for style, and extra flexibility for performance and freedom of movement.
The Three Stripes will also be nodding to city running culture with the PureBoost Go release, as they’re partnering with A$AP Ferg to refurbish the running track at Harlem’s Thomas Jefferson Park. Also, anyone in New York City or Chicago within delivery range of an adidas store will be able to order a pair of the new PureBoost Go shoes from Postmates, and have the shoes delivered directly to their doorstep. Not in either major metropolitan area? The PureBoost Go will be available on adidas.com in both men’s and women’s sizes July 19th, with a retail price of $120 USD.
