After an extensive 22-team pack of NCAA football-inspired Nike Free TR8s released earlier this week to the delight of college football fans around the country, Nike is making sure that the football-loving ladies get their fill as well. Twelve school-specific, women’s-only pairs, covering a wide swath of academic institutions from the Florida State Seminoles to Nike founder Phil Knight’s beloved Oregon Ducks are also set to release in honor of the upcoming NCAA football season. Although the collegiate-inspired kicks for the fairer sex boast the exact same bold team colors as the men’s pairs there are some noticeable differences: the midfoot’s logo-adorned lacing system is gone, replaced by a team-colored swoosh graphic, while the school’s logo is moved to the heel. The midsole is also changed, removing the speckled detailing from the men’s pairs to instead offer an unadorned stark white variant. Want to support your school? You can look for these twelve collegiate kicks to arrive soon on Nike.com, each with a retail price of $110 USD.
