Official Images Of The Air Jordan 4 Raptors

The Air Jordan 4 “Raptors” is a shoe that’s been shrouded in mystery since it was unveiled earlier this spring. First, it was supposed to be a collaborative release with Drake. Then, it was reportedly switched to an in-line release after rumors of Drake jumping ship to adidas surfaced. Following the Drizzy to adidas rumors, old official images of the shoe were unveiled … complete with Drake’s signature on the tongue. Now, the storm is finally settling down: Drake is reportedly heading back to the Jumpman after his beef with Pusha T and Kanye West seemingly impeded the rumored move to adidas, the “Raptor” 4s are dropping this month, and a new set of official images with no tongue signature have been revealed.

A black nubuck is used as the shoe’s base, while red and purple accents—nodding to the classic Raptors uniforms of the late 90s/early 00s—provide detail: red appears on the outsole, tongue, and lacing system, while a bold purple arrives on the midsole and heel Jumpman logo. A tonal black patch adorns the tongue, and the shoe is completed with a special clear/black hangtag that replaces the usual clear/orange version. Look for these Toronto-inspired kicks to arrive August 18th at the retailers listed below for $200 USD, and enjoy a full set of official images—sans signature—as well.
