The adidas NMD R1 Arrives In Camo Heels

Although the adidas POD S3.1 has been commandeering the majority of the Three Stripes’ lifestyle headlines as of late, its spiritual precursor—the adidas NMD R1—hasn’t gone anywhere either. Set to release in a combination of grey, black, and white, this new adidas NMD colorway features a simple tonal grey mesh upper, while accents arrive via a black heel tab and an interesting translucent heel counter with a snow camo style print underneath for a pop of flair. A white Boost midsole with black bricks provides all-day cushioning (and a little extra contrast), and the shoe is completed with a black outsole.
