The Three Stripes’ ample use of their flagship Boost technology isn’t slowing down anytime soon. With three classic Ultra Boosts set to re-release in the coming months, heratage silhouettes receiving new adidas NMD-style midsoles and the upcoming restock of Kanye West‘s Yeezy 350 Boost V2 in two different colorways, the bouncy, comfy foam is as omnipresent as ever. One of the newest adidas silhouettes to prominently feature the technology? The adidas POD s3.1—a successor to the adidas NMD R1—that has now surfaced in a bold royal blue. The shoe’s upper is completely dressed in blue, while accents arrive via black suede on the heel tab/top of the tongue and a small white branded hit on the eyestay. The two-piece midsole features white EVA foam in the front and a thick chunk of white Boost in the heel—held together by a blue plastic plate—and the outsole is dressed in a clean grey. These bright new PODs are available now from JD Sports, and retail for £100, or around $127 USD.
