The Jordan 88 Racer Appears In A “Triple Black” Colorway

There’s a good chance that you never thought you’d see one of the most iconic basketball shoes of all time in running form, but that’s exactly what the Jordan 88 Racer is. A speedy and minimalistic runner with detailing inspired by the Air Jordan 3, the 88 Racer brings the 3’s legacy into a whole new market. Now it’s now surfaced in a “Triple Black” that bears similarities to 2007’s “Black Cat” AJ3 colorway. The shoe’s upper features a pitch-black design with a sublimated elephant print for detailing, and the Flyknit Racer-esque midsole and outsole are both dressed in all black as well. Tonal Jumpman branding appears on both the tongue and heel, the latter trading out the 3’s normal “AIR” text hit for “RUN.” If you’re a fan of the fusion of old and new, these sleek panther-esque kicks are available now on Nike.com, and retail for an even $100 USD.
