Nike Air Force 1 High “Knicks” Is Dropping Next Week

Due to a relatively quiet offseason, the biggest basketball news out of the Big Apple heading into 2018-19 was word that upcoming free agents Kyrie Irving and Jimmy Butler might be interested in heading there next year. With Kristaps Porzingis out for most of if not all of the season, it would behoove the Knicks to finish the year toward the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings to continue building around the Unicorn through the draft. While the Knicks won’t blow anyone away on the court, NYC and Madison Square Garden are still the mecca of the sport, and the Knickerbockers remain one of the most recognizable franchises the world over. With that in mind, the Swoosh is set to add a Knicks-colored Air Force 1 High to a growing collection of NBA-branded Forces that already includes low versions for the Heat, Lakers, Spurs, and Warriors. A primarily white upper is complemented by a Team Orange midfoot Swoosh and Game Royal piping throughout its upper, branding, and outsole. A dual-colored Vandal-style strap and the Association’s iconic Jerry West logo completes this NYC-friendly selection that is slated to arrive at retailers the likes of Titolo on October 4th.
