Vans is one of the few brands that transcend subcultures and trends, garnering appraise from the deepest of fashion enthusiasts and the most die-hard skateboarders. The brand’s collaborations with streetwear labels like Supreme and high-end luxury names like Diemme speak volumes to the California-based footwear company’s wide range and international appeal. While sometimes adorned with iconic Disney characters and your favorite Peanuts dog, the Vans Sk8-Hi now arrives in what is a reimagining of one of its classic designs. Coming in two colorways — one of a bright green and blue while the other a more muted black and white — the waffle soled high-top features a checkerboard-printed side panel with an enlarged “OFF THE WALL” embroidery under its jazz stripe, showcasing Vans’ more adventurous side in terms of branding. Retailing at $70 USD, the two colorways are currently available at select overseas retailers like Billy’s Tokyo.
