Union LA Secretly Debuted Air Jordan 1 Collaboration At A Flea Market

Union LA Secretly Debuted Air Jordan 1 Collaboration At A Flea Market

Union LA’s pieced-together take on the Air Jordan 1 that features details taken from a cornucopia of OG colorways as been the talk of the sneaker world since its unveiling earlier this October. As the shoe is heavily vintage-inspired, Union felt that the only proper way to unveil it was at a veritable temple of vintage: the iconic Rose Bowl flea market in Pasadena, CA. The pranksters set up a fake booth full of real vintage Nike and Jordan apparel/footwear — but put their AJ1s front and center and even added hidden cameras to capture the reactions of attendees. The results are nothing short of hilarious, as many a puzzled glance is cast upon the new kicks by booth visitors who can’t tell if the shoes are authentic. Sean Wotherspoon of Round Two and Air Max 1/97 fame even makes an appearance — and is seemingly befuddled by the special Jordan shoes, stating that he’s “never seen this shoe” and that there’s “no way they’re real.” Check out the hilarious video below, and be sure to stay tuned for more release updates on these highly anticipated kicks as they’re available.
