Borrowing the namesake of the Summer 1896 Olympic Marathon winner, the Air Zoom Spiridon has embodied the concept of running since its birth. Offering up the innovations Nike has become known for while sporting a profile characteristic of its time, the silhouette has gradually become a lifestyle staple in recent years. As such, the Beaverton brand has given the Spiridon many colorful palettes — with its Parra collaboration taking up that ethos to the utmost degree — and is now adorning the vintage runner with a bright orange along the mesh and leather of its upper. Contrasting notes of 3M and white can be found on the midsole and stitching, while the lace-ribbons feature that overbranded aesthetic with repeating brand emblems. Arriving later this season at a retail of $160 USD, expect to find these hitting Nike.com and Swoosh stockists.
