A taste of what’s to come in the new year arrives as we get a first look at an upcoming Air Jordan 5 that once again recalls Michael’s Laney High School and the signature colors of the blue and yellow. Rumored to release in January 2019 alongside a yellow-based colorway, this Air Jordan 5 Retro+ takes that iconic colorway from 2000 and rearranges it to something a bit more energetic at it takes on the royal blue all over the suede upper. A speckled grey midsole and a chenille material, typically found on varsity jackets, is used on the tongue’s oversized Jumpman emblem. Again, these are slated to drop in January, so get a first look here and stay tuned for more 2019 Jordan release dates.
