Though the once-futuristic tech the Tailwind boasts may have now become commonplace, its classic look still holds up — and the Tailwind has become a beloved casual sneaker, one that enjoyed a successful re-release earlier this year in a combination of grey and sport blue. Now, the waffle-soled runner is aiming to keep the momentum it established earlier this year rolling right along with another classic color combination: black and white. Featuring an upper composed of black mesh and suede plus a large white Swoosh and old-school foam tongue, the Tailwind’s sleek retro look is finished off with a white midsole and — of course — a black waffle outsole.
