While Russell Westbrook is currently in the midst of one of his worst seasons in recent memory, he is still the proverbial banner athlete for today’s current Jordan Brand. Coming off of two straight seasons in which he averaged a Triple Double, it is likely that Brodie will right his ship, and he may be doing so in his second signature Jumpman sneaker. Aptly given a Why Not Zer0.2 monicker, it carries a lot of the same design language as the Why Not Zer0.1 as well as a toe cap that is similar to the new Air Jordan 33. Fittingly dressed in an Oklahoma City Thunder-inspired color scheme, it boasts a mesh upper, a textured heel unit, and a lower cut ankle collar for more range of motion on court. One of its most unique aesthetic embellishments has got to be on its outsole, as toward the heel it shows off the sneaker’s size tag which is usually found either under its tongue or on one of the inner side walls. Of course, there is RW branding aplenty, taking shape on its heel, midsole, tongue, and insoles. Grab a first look at the brand new Jordan Why Not Zer0.2 here and stay tuned for any and all release updates as we have them.
