Nike Adds Foamposite Uppers To The Zoom Vapor X Tennis Shoe

Nike Adds Foamposite Uppers To The Zoom Vapor X Tennis Shoe

We’re in true oddball territory with Nike’s hybrid shoes. Arguably one of the most recognizable basketball shoes of all-time, Penny Hardaway’s NIke Air Foamposite One, has reappeared in a brand new format that blends basketball design of 1997 with the modern age of tennis shoes. This strange blend pairs up a revised Air Foamposite One upper in its classic Dark Neon Royal colorway with the outsole of the Zoom Vapor X, a contemporary tennis shoe that is in use today among Nike athletes and tennis players worldwide. Nike went as far as adding a translucent outsole and even the trademark carbon fiber midfoot plate for that unmistakeable Foamposite look. Thoughts on this hybrid? Check out the first look ahead and stay tuned for release details.
