Another Nike Air Max 98 Themed After Its Debut Year Is Coming

The Nike Air Max 98 celebrated its 20th anniversary in style during 2018, arriving to market in a wide range of styles and becoming one of the most popular Nike Sportswear silhouettes of the year. Now it’s set to keep the momentum it established last year rolling in 2019, as it’s dropping in new makeups inspired by its original release year that prominently feature large “98” embroidered details on the medial midfoot. After first appearing in a Knicks-esque black colorway, the 98-adorned Air Max 98s have now surfaced in a crisp white and silver, complete with colorful accents like red hits on the lateral midfoot/heel and a bold royal blue Air Max cushioning unit. The aforementioned silver 98 graphic is done up in a retro font for a time period-appropriate pop of style, and the shoe is then completed with reflective piping on the lacing system and above the mudguard. Grab a detailed look at these new 98s below, and expect them to release at select Nike Sportswear retailers in the coming weeks for $160 USD.
