Most of its early releases have been geared more towards the court than the street — understandably, as they are a basketball shoe first and foremost — but now an almost all-red colorway complete with a veritable heap of new patterns that seems equally geared towards both arenas has surfaced. Using a shockingly powerful red for the base color, these new AJ33s boast quilted red leather on the tongue, heel, and forefoot for a pop of luxe style. Meanwhile, a tonal black elephant print appears on the heel overlay to provide an interesting mix of contrast and material texture. The FlightSpeed lacing system is also done up in red/black, and the shoe is then competed by bold branded hits on the tongue and heel. Ready for more red? These new 33s will release January 15th at select Jordan Brand stockists in both men’s and grade school sizes — the men’s for $210 USD, the grade school for $150 USD.
