COMME des Garcons BLACK Is Releasing Their Nike Footscape Soon

With three of 2018’s most-loved collabs — the Nike Air 180, Nike Mowabb, and Nike Air Force 1 with Supreme — under their belt, Rei Kawakubo’s COMME des Garcons is ready to keep things rolling with the Swoosh Brand in 2019. We’ve already seen two eye-catching takes on the Nike Presto Tent from the pair, and now we have a look at another piece of cult-classic collaborative footwear: a Nike Footscape. A product of CDG’s BLACK line, this Footscape draws upon its co creator’s name both literally and figuratively, dressing the beloved synthetic-and-suede sportswear silhouette entirely in a murky black. Large embroidered CDG branding appears on the medial midfoot opposite the asymmetrical lacing system, while small reflective hits on the lace loops and heel provide a flash of low-light style. The look is then completed by co-branded insoles and a simple black midsole/outsole. Grab a look at these new CDG kicks below, and stay tuned for information on a release date as it’s available.

UPDATE: The CDG BLACK Footscapes are making a slow roll out throughout very select retailers with Dover Street Market New York stocking the pair right now in-store.
