The Nike Air Max 720 “Northern Lights” — also referred to as the “Aurora Borealis” — is dropping February 1st, and it’ll be officially kicking off the new silhouette’s run of grandiose, nature-derived colorways. Designed alongside the popular Air Max 270, the 720’s cushioning unit features the most Air ever in a Swoosh Brand sneaker, and provides all-day comfort for the fast-paced commuter. A magnificent iridescent purple color inspired by nighttime Northern Lights hues also ensures that the cushioning unit/midsole looks as good as it performs. The dark grey textured mesh upper then adds further to the retro-futuristic look, opting to use large abstract plastic/mesh overlays instead of bold branded hits, and the shoe is completed by Air Max text graphics on the tongue.
