The Reebok Pyro Arrives In A Retro Lilac Colorway

Reebok’s running/training designs from the mid ’80s to the early ’90s are the stuff of legend. After taking advantage of the aerobics craze that swept the US in the ’80s, the British-bred, Boston-based brand kept on charging with tech like DMX cushioning and stylish performance releases like the Reebok Aztrek, the Reebok DMX Daytona, and the Reebok Pyro, a 1992 runner that recently returned to market. The newest Pyro to surface? A ladies-only “Lilac” colorway. Using the soft pinkish-purple tone as a base, the shoe then calls upon a stark black for the majority of its accents — from the midfoot branding to the retro runner logo on the tongue and the repeating logo print on the laces. Further small pops of orange and crimson along the sockliner and tongue add a little extra flavor, and a sail midsole packed chock-full of DMX in the heel then completes the look. These classic Pyros are available now at the Reebok stockists listed below for an affordable $80 USD.
