While 2018 comprised mostly of AJ1s, 2019 seems to be quite a bit more fleshed out in terms of variety, with this forthcoming “Berry Pink” Jordan 4 stretching the usual idea of a girl’s only release. The entire upper maintains a deep purple scheme while accents of pink arrive in compliment, though the despite their proximity along the color wheel, the pairing creates a more expressive visual contrast. White laces and midsole are a strong neutral base to maintain an overall balance, while the iconic Jumpman branding comes dressed up in that bright make-up. A regally designed heart logo along the heel calls back to the “For The Love Of The Game” set of the past, connecting this modern pair to the series’ deep heritage.
