Ross Dwyer Anticipation for Nike’s Air Max Light is continuing to build as photos of more and more color schemes start to roll out, and now it’s been divulged that the Light will return in an original teal makeup. Often affectionately referred to as “Dusty Cactus,” the palette has appeared on everything from the Air Max 270 to the Air Max 1 recently, but now it’s back on one of the silhouettes it first graced. The upper’s unique paneled design — offering shades of both the Air Max 1 and Air Max 90 — features a white mesh base, grey overlays, and a black mudguard/swoosh, while the teal detailing appears on the midfoot’s plastic cage and top eyelet. More teal then appears on the tongue, heel Air Max cushioning unit, and outsole to complete the look.
