adidas Brings Back The ZX4000 In Its Original Colorway

The adidas ZX4000 has enjoyed a retro revival as of late, both re-releasing in several classic colorways and serving as the inspiration for the uber-futuristic ZX4000 4D. Now, it’s hit the market in its very first colorway from 1989 — a true-to-the-original makeup that’s sure to delight Three Stripe fanatics the world over. The base uses a timeless combo of meshes and suedes, combining whites and soft greys with a black overlay on the midfoot. Colorful accents then arrive via the yellow and blue stripes, trefoil branding on the tongue/heel, and various pops of volt scattered throughout the throat, heel, and midfoot. Classic Torsion technology then appears on the lower half via a Kevlar bar to make sure this detailed re-creation is all the way on point. Available now at the adidas stockists listed below, these ZX4000s retail for $120 USD — so be sure to scoop a pair for your springtime sneaker rotation.
