Ross Dwyer A shroud-less version of the layered Apex Utility, Jordan Brand’s Apex React is a captivating high-top Flyknit design that’s now surfaced in a familiar “Triple Black” colorway. Featuring an upper style that’s not terribly dissimilar to the Air Jordan 1 Flyknit sans the new heel strap and tongue/heel pull tabs, the all-black makeup allows the compelling design ethos to speak clearly, highlighting each piece and alternate texture of the flexible knit upper. The lower half then borrows the comfy React midsole and noodled outsole design of the Jordan Proto React to complete this compelling fusion of new styles from the Jumpman.
