Nike Adds Shiny Iridescent Tongue Logos To The Blazer

Nike Adds Shiny Iridescent Tongue Logos To The Blazer

The Nike Blazer Mid continues to bask in the spotlight of sneaker culture, deflecting the touches of deconstructionist Virgil Abloh and Chitose Abe for a creation of more humbly modified construction. While the previous vintage capsule did away with the colored swooshes, the newest iteration opts for a more stripped down execution as it forgoes the traditional overlaid checks in favor of contrasting outlines. Iridescent tabs found on the tongue — as either a call back to some of Beaverton’s adventurous creations from back in 2014 or a simple bit of visual flair — act as the sole point of vibrancy as the accompanying warm tone is used only sparingly along the aforementioned profile branding, heel counter typography, lining, and graphic insole. Atop white leather constructions and more toned down panelling, the newest tooling to grace the Blazer is quite a bit more modern than its more recent contemporaries. Take an official look at the offering below and find these available at Nike.com right now.
